George is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in software development and consulting in the enterprise and startup worlds. As the CEO of WebMocha, George has taken the company from its' beginnings as a small group of freelance engineers to a mature company of full-time employees able to serve clients anywhere in the world.
From strategic decision making to business development, relationship management and customer service - George is guided by his passion to affect positive change through technology. Continually evaluating the growing needs of WebMocha's clients, George works closely with his team to ensure that WebMocha continues to evolve to meet the challenges their clients may face. During the early years of the company, he was a key developer on a number of site redesigns where he championed responsiveness, accessibility and performance optimization as foundational elements to a great user experience.
Prior to WebMocha, George was a frontend engineer at Yahoo! Travel and Yahoo! News. During his stint at Yahoo! News, it was recognized as one of the world's top news sites and home to some of the most trafficked pages on the internet.
When he's not focused on WebMocha, George supports minorities in tech by managing the FilipinosForward community and is an advisor to the Filipinx In Tech Bay Area group. George lives in the California Bay Area with his wife Lisa and two daughters, Emerson and Marlowe. In his downtime, he can sometimes be found playing video games or escaping into comic books.
